Go For Baroque - Musically Motivating Workshops

GO FOR BAROQUE……an early music play-in

Join us, and welcome the coming of Spring with an exploration of
“Le Journal du Printemps”
An opus composed by Johann Caspar Ferdinand in 1695
Explore the character, style, ornamentation and bowings associated with one of the suites from this beautiful piece of early Baroque repertoire. Learn how to apply these techniques while playing this work on your modern instruments. We welcome amateur string players, recorder players and viol players who have some chamber music experience. This workshop will help develop and enhance your skills and abilities to play repertoire of this era. The pitch will be A=440.

Coaching and “break-out” sessions will be led by:
